We have already begun seeing moves by various hotels and individual bars and bartenders across the country towards sustainability. These are being driven by various factors including:

  • Environmental consciousness
  • Conscious Customer
  • Cost reduction
  • Skill set evolution

Quite often these are moves in isolation that address one aspect of sustainability in the bar only. We are hopeful that more holistic measures will start to emerge, and that our award, and the criteria set will be one such trigger for bars to further excel in this field.
