A new entry to our list, Slow Tide pays homage to Anjuna’s heritage through its architecture, design, and menu, inspired by the diverse personalities of the Anjuna commune.

There is an old Konkani saying; ‘Anjuna asloe nau na ani Anjuna asolo gaun na’ In simple terms, it says ‘there is no name or land beyond Anjuna’. Slow Tide personifies this, and dramatically reinvents the old time Anjuna shack.

The bar is a modern ode to the alcohol culture of Goa—with cocktails named after prominent people associated with the state’s beverage realm or after the drinking traditions. Names like ‘Sailor Fred’ and ‘Acid Eric’ are accompanied by the anecdotes about them on the menu.
